The first couple of minutes were used to assess my skin and decide what would be appropriate to do. She was very engaging through out the whole process, talked to me about each step and made sure I approved of her work! After, she made recommendations on skin care products and gave me instructions on how and when to use each one. From my initial phone call with Ms.Magdalen to the end of my service she had me laughing. She has a... kindhearted, fun spirit and great personality all around. Very direct with her expectations (be punctual) and will answer your questions. She is the only one in her shop and uses paper strip vs hard wax. I questioned the paper strips but my results were amazing and so smooth. I received a full Brazilian and underarm wax, its been a week since my service and no hair growth or skin issues from her products. Also, the pain was minimal and tolerable, I was on my cycle so you will be more sensitive. The positions are different from my normal but her reasoning was true. I been getting waxed for about 8-9yrs and she was a 10/10! Highly recommend Ms.Magdalen to anyone who is in the Rockville, MD area!read more
